On November 18, 2006, the Karate 5 Family made the 2 hour trip to 
Dayton, Tn to participate in the I.I.K.A. Youth Karate Games. The 
weather was fantastic, which made the trip more enjoyable.

This was one of the best run tournaments that we have seen in quite
a while. It started on time and ended on time and ran rather smoothly.
Master Parks and his helpers are to be commended for doing such a
good job.

It appeared that the number of competitors and spectators was up
from last year and the competition was spirited. Hopefully, the
event will continue to grow as the years go by, thereby insuring that
Isshinryu will be strong from now on. 

This was a successful venture for Karate 5 and the picture shows 
family, fellowship and some happy winners. When our students have
the support of family and community, they try harder to succeed.
