On May 11th, Master Willie G. Wilson and Master William Mason 
presented  the winner of the essay contest that was held in conjunction
with the Grand Opening of the Morristown Dojo on 01-April-2006, her
$25.00 prize and $500.00 for her home room. Kira  Ramsey, a freshman
at Morristown Hamblen High School East was the winner. She was 
mentored by Dr. Gant, a science teacher at Morristown East. Dr. Gant
commented that he is looking forward to the next event as he will have
more students take part. The Karate 5 takes pride in being a part of
the community.
