"Let My Spirit be Protected by the Knowledge of the Martial Arts"

In Memoriam

The Karate 5 family would like to solicit the prayers of our
martial arts brothers and sisters to help us deal with the
passing of Ms. Rose Furino, the mother of one of our most
dedicated supporters , Gary Furino, Sr. ,  and the grandmother
of 4 of our most hardworking students (Jami, Gary Jr., Vincent,
and Lydia Furino).  Ms. Rose's health had been declining for a
long time and we are thankful that she no longer has to suffer.
God in his mercy took her home on Dec-21-2007 and she will be
interred on Dec-28-2007.

It is quite significant that Ms. Rose recently felt well enough
to travel from Florida to Tennessee to visit Karate 5 Headquarters
Dojo and the affiliate Dojo in Morristown. She was elated to see
the type of training that her grand children were getting and to
meet some of the friends that her son had made. Her spirit was
high for the entire weekend and I feel quite sure that a part of
her will be in both dojos as we continue to do our best to make
a positive impact on our respective communities. We are
thankful that God let Ms. Rose bless us with her presence.
