| Prior to her promotion to Probationary Shodan ,Grandmaster Wilson lectures Sarah Martin and the class on the tradition of the Karate 5 Association. Ms. Martin, once her probation period has been served, will be only the 2nd female karateka to be certified as a Black Belt in Karate 5, Isshinryu in 30+ years. The requirements are quite stringent, as one has to be well versed in traditional Isshinryu, Modern and Military Arnis, VeeJitsu Te, Sanuces Ryu Jui-jitsu as well as Karate 5 self defense techniques. Sarah is a tireless worker and will be an asset to the Karate 5 Association in her new level. Congratulations from the Board of Directors and Instructors of Karate 5. |
