On Tuesday the 5th of April in the year 2005, Naomi Mason presented
a handmade "Spirit Lifter" to the Karate 5 Dojo. Shown with her
receiving the unusual piece of craft work is Master Willie Garfield
Wilson. Naomi is guided to create these works when certain special
things are introduced into her life. The special occurrence here, is that
she became a student of Modern Arnis and wanted to do something to
make sure that the Spirit of this special Dojo would continue to be
uplifted in order to fulfill its mission. It is similar in nature to the
native american "dreamcatcher", but has it's own unique way of
capturing and amplifying the spirit of the Dojo. We invite you to
