Where did Summer go?

On August 06,2008, Karate 5 Association of Tennessee partnered
with Foster Chapel Baptist Church and the Oakland community to
once again hand out school supplies to kids headed back to school.
Karate 5 is passionate about this project because we realize that in
the world today, a good education is no longer a luxury but a must.
We know that we can't wait until a child is in high school to impress
upon them the need to do their best and having the right supplies
goes a long way toward making the task more enjoyable. Hopefully,
one day these same kids will do likewise to those who come behind
them. We care, that's why we try to eliminate as many excuses that
we can that keep the kids from being the "best that they can be."

Better than Walmart, because this is free!

One thing that I vividly remember about my childhood was that there
was always a lack of everything. There was never enough food,
clothing or school supplies. The fact that I was able to overcome
that condition and have a successful life makes me proud to help
those less fortunate in this day and age.

Even the "Supremes" dropped by to help! This is our future! Let's have a Snack! Thank you very much!
